Great place to sail. You can show up and most days someone will take you sailing & show you around. These people love to sail & share their enthusiasm ! One of the gems of Sudbury, no doubt!

Sailing school was always a good summer activity and I learned a lot (taught there for years as well). A nice location but with dated facilities. Boat ownership isn't overly expensive, but annual membership is too high for young people, meaning that the demographics are very skewed. Everyone is very nice though, and race nights on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday are very fun. Plenty of little regattas which attract some out of town boats. The Turner Cup race series is a very fun idea racing all club boats against eachother; new ideas are giving the club more sparks of life.
