Nice deep launch. Parking and launch cost $18. We didn't have trouble finding a parking place for truck and trailer but it is limited and didn't look like there was only 1 spot left. I suggest you get there early. Washrooms are up on the hill and a bit of a walk.

I recently signed up for the adult sailing lessons with much anticipation and excitement! My first session had 2 great coaches who were very knowledgeable and experienced. Of course, I was nervous but this was a long time goal to learn to sail. Unfortunately, we did capsize but the 2 coaches & Lead staff, Ben were effective and timely in the rescue assistance. I did attempt to participate the following session however, only observed and did not sail. Realizing I would not be able to complete the remaining sessions, I sent an email inquiring about possible or partial refund addressed to Ben (main contact ). After several days with no reply, I sent another request to Ben regarding refund policy with a follow up request. Again, no reply or any form of contact by any staff at Oakville Squadron Yacht club. I did however, receive emails from Ben addressed to our sailing group, regarding class cancellations due to weather and alternate dates, confirming my email contact information correct. I am disappointed that a reputable and community organization would be so dismissive and lacking in customer service. The 4 sessions were $500.00 and although, I did not expect a full refund, I did expect a reply at the very least, out of courtesy. Hopefully, with this review, OSY will reconsider and review their current practices of customer service and engagement. Kind regards, Deborah Doucette

Great place to learn to sail. Friendly and fun atmosphere. Can't say enough good things about this place.

This yacht club offers excellent value for the money ... great location, friendly people and good racing. They also offer a membership program for people that want to sail but don't own a boat ... ask about the BAB (borrow a boat program).

parking is a little hard to find, but it's a very nice place. welcoming area, if you're a member.
