Parking lot is convenient to the hotel rooms - not so much the convention center. The facility isn't a really big space, but it's new and very nice, clean bathrooms, awesome view of the river. I enjoy coming for events and shows. Freighters bar/restaurant is next door, plus there is a Michigan-theme gift shop onsite too. Great place for a vendor show, fundraising dinner, or weekend event. You won't be disappointed.

I got married here in July 2017 and it was great. The ceremony was on the Abbey patio and reception was in the River view suite. The Blue Water Convention Center was very clean and the cost was reasonable. We worked with Jackie, who was a Pleasure to work with. We ran into an issue with one of the venders and Jackie was great in getting the issue resolved and although not perfect it was the best that could be done the day of the wedding. (Table linens was the absolute wrong color and didn't have the ones we ordered in house). The facility manager did refund us the cost of the linens. Jackie was on site to work with and very helpful. Good communication in the planning stage and the day of the wedding. Only Issue we had was we were not informed the reception dance floor was not included.
