Great place to launch the boat. Friendly staff. Had a great day fishing.

The following review is for the previous owners, since it's under new ownership I don't want to taint their reputation without cause - so I'm upping my previous 1 star to a more neutral 3 stars because I appreciate that the new owners took the time to respond. My Previous Feedback: ------------------------------------ Rented boats here a few times, twice they broke down, the last time it happened we were charged a full day for a broken boat that we had to tow back in. I will never rent from this place again.

Fantastic atmosphere. People are always happy there to discuss with Ray sr. Or new owners Ray and Amie ferris about old times and new. Aluminum powered boats for rent, a boat launch, a fantastic chip wagon with many original foods, multiple live baits including leaches worms and minnows, gas for boats cars and barb qs, you name it they got it all.

Terrible experience with this place!! Went there once last year, and rented a couple boats went out a ways from shore when the motor just broke down and couldn’t get it going again! Called the guy and told him we needed a different boat to come tow us in, took a couple hours before the guy finally go out on the water to come help us out! Went there once a month ago again to retry, didn’t have problems then, he had put new motors on all the boats but you could see that they weren’t mounted on properly, at times it looked like the motor was going to fall off, the owner himself then said that the motors weren’t mounted on good. Went there today Sunday June 10 2018 and we were able to use the boat for a while with no issues and then when we started the boat back up to move to another locate I was going in a straight path at half speed and the motor fell off and sank to the bottom!! Had to get my buddy that was on the other boat to pull us to shore, when I tried to explain to the owner and his wife what had happened they didnt even give me a second to explain what happened they both just started yelling at me saying that if I didn’t pay $4000 they would get a lawyer involved. If I was at fault I would not have a problem with this and I would pay but this was on them, he himself said a month ago when I was there that the motors we not mounted on properly! I have 5 witnesses that heard him say that the motors weren’t mounted correctly!! Henry Woelke

Great place to launch a boat on Long Point. Easy launch with plenty of parking. Also the best place to get gas and bait on the water. Really looking forward to the addition of a new food truck this next season.
