Rented a canoe for a backcountry trip in Frontenac park- everything was fine, until the yoke failed from an old joint and fell on my head while carrying it. There is no concern for the condition of the boats that are being rented, without any sort of maintenance inspection. When we let the owner know (once we found him), we were actually yelled at, and he had zero concern for the safety of someone borrowing his equipment. Would not borrow their equipment if it was free!

Had an amazing experience on my second time at Snug Harbour. Had reserved a canoe and campsite in Frontenac Park, but when we arrived to drop off our car and go it was late, dark and storming. Rob let us stay in a cabin overnight, free of charge, to wait for safer passage. He ran around getting us set up with a campfire, chairs and dry firewood, and recleaned the cabin despite our protests. We ended up staying most of the long weekend and renting a motorboat as well, and met nothing but amazing service. Both cabins we stayed in were spotless and charming, and prices were extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Nice little cabins that are reasonably priced. Watercraft rentals are priced very well by the day that are similar to other places by the hour. Friendly owner/staff that is easy going.

Great place to bring the family for a weekend. Lovely little cottages and a beautiful lake. I thought the prices were also a great value. Try renting a canoe for the day!

Found the owner very self absorbed and not client friendly.
