We rented two pontoons for a day with a group of 14 people and two dogs. The staff was friendly and helpful from the first phone call through checkout. Every person we worked with was great. The boats we rented were in good shape and very reasonably priced. We were given maps to use and Tracy went over them with us to make sure we knew all the best places to go. We would definitely come back to Northern Lights.

Excellent, attentive staff and a variety of activities for the family. The shore location is prime as the boat docks are protected from winds off the lake. The cabins are well-stocked although the kitchen appliances need a little tlc. Beds are comfortable enough for a week. They do a great home made welcome dinner and the 4th of July show is amazing!

Stayed in the Teton cabin with 8 adults and 3 children. It was perfect. The owners are friendly, helpful and always available. The lake is as advertised - beautiful. .

Wonderful experience in 2017, but in 2018 we returned to the same problems which were supposed to be repaired that we identified the previous year. Sliding door difficult to move, screen sliding door broken, pilot light on stove not working and having to be lit with a lighter, or gas grill was taken away when we arrived and replaced with a charcoal grill with a comped bag of coals. Dock hours end at 8:30pm when it doesn't get dark until 10pm. Fish cleaning services also end if your not done fishing and into the resort by 8:30pm, so plan to finish fishing early. The cost for the week for the cabin and 2 boats was $3500, so I think it's reasonable to expect a bit more for the premium dollar you are paying.

We spent part of the week camping on Echo Island, which is a short paddle from the resort. We rented 3 canoes from NLRO and they treated us just like guests! Tracy and her employees are so welcoming and so refreshing to be around. The resort itself also looks like an amazing place to stay.
