Thanks to Brenda and Brian for helping me get my boat back quickly. We had visitors from the UK and were only up for a week when our boat starting taking on water. No one else was interested in taking on an "emergency repair" but Brenda promised to try to get it done in a few days. Brian was so helpful and patient when I called him every day to follow up and we were grateful to get the boat back and all fixed up for the last half of the week. (Mon-Tues were raining anyway so that worked out nicely). Thanks again!

Beware Huntsville Marine! I rented a boat from Huntsville Marine this summer and will never use them again. Not only did they try to overcharge me when I initially called, once we rented the boat, it became quickly apparent that they have little regard for their customers' needs and place responsive customer service at the bottom of their priority list. This attitude comes right from the top. The owner of the business was one of the rudest men I have ever had to deal with.

I usually deal with their competitor, Mobile Marine (5 star service) but these guys were open Sundays and I thought I'd give 'em a try. What a mistake! Very disappointed with the customer service, dropped off my motor for a simple "tune up", but after a MONTH, no phone call with updates... I decided to stop in and they said "sorry, it's not ready yet"... I demanded my motor and I said I was taking it to Mobile Marine... When I got my motor, it was very dusty and looked untouched, making me confused when suddenly they were saying I owe a bill for $112, ($75 labour + $15 part)... Almost seems like they made it up. Sad too that the sales rep had to take my frustration, no supervisor or manager stepped in to apologize or mediate. I will never return and I highly recommend the more professional service of Mobile Marine, located 5min away in Huntsville.

Had them pick up my boat at my dock last fall for storage and repairs. Spoke to them in May - repairs not started, but booked a delivery date of June 15. Called June 13 on my way up to Huntsville, was told repairs will not be attempted until day of delivery (leaving no room for unforeseen problems). Supposed to call me to confirm estimates for repairs. No calls and no delivery as of 6 pm Friday night, at which point they were closed. Finally contacted me on June 20 - all repairs done, with a very detailed invoice explaining exactly what was done - I appreciate this information. Arranged delivery to my dock Overall, satisfied, but poor communications caused a lot of unnecessary stress

Poor customer service. Booked a boat for a day, unfortunately the weather was poor but we decided to try enjoy ourselves. 45 minutes in it started pouring with rain so we returned the boat. I inquired whether we could be charged for a half day rather than a full day since we used the boat for less than an hour. The answer was a very unsympathetic NO. While I understand this is their policy, it does not seem like any way to get repeat business. It does also not explain the unfriendly customer service and the response that there "is nothing they can do". There certainly is something they can do as it is a policy which they choose to implement. We were also given the very worst boat on a day when we were the only ones going out on the lake. I will try somewhere else next time we are in Huntsville.
