Rented from this company twice and the experience was not good either time. The cottages were not as described in the ad and customer service is non-existent. There are much better property management companies to use if you are looking for a cottage rental in Ontario. We will never use these guys again.

We had a great experience with regards to booking and using one of the properties. Honest and direct. Responsive even over the holidays. Application process and the security deposit (as it pertains to mailing a check back to you vs. a hold on a credit card) is a bit tedious if i were to pick on something. Overall, very happy and would use again.

We had a good experience renting a cottage with OCR this past summer. Their website listings provide accurate information. The application process takes a few days to hear back. The office would always answer any questions we had about the rental, but at times we had to remind them or ask twice. When it came to staying at our cottage rental, we had some issues with it (not due to OCR) and I was planning to just end our vacation early and go home. I was both surprised and appreciative when I brought my concerns to OCR staff they found a solution for us-and they did so in a very timely manner! Basically saved our vacation. 😅

This was my second year renting through Ontario Cottage Rentals and they made the whole process very easy. They are super fast at responding to emails!!! I definitely recommend them.

They are extremely unreliable and dishonest. They promised to get back to me the same day, but could not even call the next day. They let me book two cottages to then tell me that they had been booked already. The always said they "did not receive" my booking. On top of all they take a very long time for the smallest things. Don't book here if you actually want to go to a cottage!
