We hit a rock and damaged the lower unit pretty badly. They were able to take our boat for repair and hold it until our next party was able to get there from the States to pick it up. It was a costly repair, parts were $1200 to $1500 USD and labor was the same, for which I gave the 3 star rating. They're a boat repair shop on one of, if not the largest glacially formed lakes in North America. You have to pay to play.

Paid asking price on used boat/motor and trailer with 30 day warranty . Had issues with play in the prop. Salesman spoke to their "Top Tech" who claimed it wasn't a problem even though three Mercury dealers and the customer service rep in Wisconsin said it was. Took the prop to a Merc dealer who put in a new $20 drive sleeve. Requested a replacement or reimbursement and they won't acknowledge the request. Best $20 lesson I ever got and just relieved it wasn't major. Won't be dealing with KY sports anytime soon.

I have dealt with K Sports several times in the last few years for both warranty and non warranty work. I have always found the service in both instances to be very good. The work was always done within the timeframes provided. All the staff have always been extremely helpful.
