The equipment is very old, always brake. Was waiting so long for a service to come and fix the boat so I was late to return the boat on time so they didn't give me my $300 deposit back. There's no one to talk to, and resolve the problem, they just staying: we don't care if you wont come next year.

Unsafe, things not working, very disappointed. First day, BBQ pipes turned to be disconnected causing flames to come out scaring everybody. Second day, boat completely lost steering and started drifting toward the rocks where it got stuck, one can imagine how "fun" experience it can be on the boat you can't steer and all this with kids . It took them half day to come and partially fix it as the guy told us he didn't have the parts. He told us to go slower (not sure what slower than 6 mph can be), so we did, obviously our planned route was thrown out of window. As soon as we docked for the overnight sleep, we noticed large oil spots coming out of the boat, of course not much fun swimming in the oil, without mentioning what it does to mother nature. Next morning they called us saying they are coming to replace the part. Again, sitting and waiting for couple more hours. The guy came, did something, left, came back, realized he couldn't fix it, told us to watch it, be careful and left. Another half day lost and boat with kids in questionable state whether or not it will happen again. We decided to give up on our plan completely and on the last day carefully and slowly as per their advice started going back. We came later than what they told us for the obvious reasons and instead of getting a sorry speech for the ruined vacation all we heard was how undisciplined we were and almost blamed their oil leaking problem resulting in losing the stearing on us. Disgraceful!!! Awful experience!!! Unsafe and dirty boats!!! Will not recommend and use their boats again. Expecting a full refund from Egan and compensation for unsafe boats and ruining our vacation

Our second year renting we had a great time all I can say is why rent a cottage when you can cruise all of the lakes in your own personal cottage on water! It is so totally relaxing we had awesome weather can’t wait to return next year! The staff are all good people!

Second year renting house boat here and every time it's getting worse. We never recieved the boat on time we were waiting with the kids for hours until the boats are ready, we prepare the trip a few weeks ahead and ofcourse we were late to return the boat, so they charged us $90 per hour!!! The boat always have issues with the motor, we were stuck a few times in the middle of nowhere waiting for the service to come and fix the boat. The boat is very old! The BBQ doesn't work properly, just burn the food. No hot water in the shower. So we were washing our kids in the lake. The fridge wasn't working, not conveniant at all! And at the end we got very bad service, the guy was so rude! NEVER AGAIN!!! It was a nightmare!
