Was free for years, now they are asking for $8 to use the launch. Cheaper than others around but other than a portapotty, there is nothing else to warrant that fee. The launch itself is shallow and very rocky if you don't go straight down the middle. Parking is muddy at the best of times and the grass you have to park in will easily hide your trailer, and not in a good way. This launch gets really busy on days like bass season opener so prepare to be there early (before 6 am) or be ready to wait.

As crappy as a boat launch can get.

Do not plan a fishing trip to this lake. This lake is garbage.. pretty well fished out. Will never fish here again. To many weeds also you will be cleaning off your prop every five minutes. .

Spent $35 on gas to drive to this launch only to find out it costs $8 to launch your boat. Not worth it. The launch itself is very narrow and shallow. Rocky and weedy and has very little parking. There is also garbage everywhere from fishermen. I also saw no fish in the water. The fee though, for a dirt launch like this ?! I refuse to pay boat launch fees to these greedy Kawartha scumbags. Especially when all the Kawartha Lakes are over fished and you probably won't catch anything anyway.

There is a public boat launch here, very limited to size and rough in out. Parking for car or truck with trailer but limited amount of space. It's not a bad spot for from shore fishing if it's not busy with other from shore fishermen and boats coming in and out.
