Ian and the crew there make you feel at home and cater to all your needs. Incredible people who truly stand out and deserve recognition. This is our favourite lock on the system without a doubt! The paddle up the tay takes you right to Perth, all clearly marked. Be sure to stop at the Tay Marsh lookout for a nice view! Also accessible by land, but not as memorable I’m sure!

Enjoy a spring walk here every year. Very under appreciated-don't run into people very often on the marsh walk which is very relaxing. Ospreys are nesting again!

Lower Beveridges connects the Tay River (Perth) to the main Rideau Canal system. Lower side has hydro for overnighting but water was just 2 inches below the cement wall to tie up. Good boat launch ramp and nice camping area. OTenticks are available to rent on the high side.
