Boats are serviceable but are clearly well travelled and showing signs of extensive use and wear. Nevertheless it's a pleasant setting and enjoyable taking a trip up the river and the staff are friendly enough and the place is popular. This can be an issue at peak times when you can be waiting around for a boat.

A nice trip on the river. Lasted an hour. A great way to enjoy the river. Drinks were available on board and they were a reasonable price too. Very nice!

With easy free parking a short walk to the boat area is very pleasant although could do with some more sign posting. The boat hire is easy and you are in and driving with very little fuss. The short boat trip takes around 45 minutes and there are many other boats and houses to see on the way. Weekday recommended with weekends being way too crowded as you have to spend more time avoiding collisions than enjoying the relaxing trip.

Good fun, friendly staff and a nice stretch of the river to explore. Would be great if the electric boats were slightly faster and in a better state of repair. They did all look a bit tatty and our one had a broken wheel. Had to wait for about 45 minutes for a boat on bank holiday Monday with a bit of a confused queuing system (another family of 4 got given a boat before we did but they arrived after us..?), but it was very busy. Big car park available too and lots of facilities nearby.
