The lodge, owners and staff are great. They also have really nice docking facilities. The cabin was clean and had nice appliances, but rustic. Nice if you want to disconnect and relax old school. Lots of good fishing opportunities.

Very relaxing place, cabin well kept and very clean, food is excellent, the owner Harold and Ingrid are very nice couple with an excellent staff. Fishing is the best.... I know this because l caught a very large 20" Bass and many other smaller ones. I highly recommend this lodge for great get a way.

Came with a group of 4 people, Owner (Harold) is very nice. The rooms we slept in are clean and comfortable, the food there was also nice. On top of that the boat equipment is up to date and works very smooth. Lots of fishes at French River, was a fun trip, thanks!

Dealt with Harold when we got there first thing in the morning and almost left after the way we we're being treated. Figured it was only for little that we had to deal with him so we sucked it up. Wouldn't recommend this lodge to anyone, save your money and go somewhere and get some respect.

Harald and Ingrid offer a first rate accommodation for canoe trips. Stayed over Sunday night and launched Monday morning. Dinner and breakfast were excellent! Pickup was arranged for the following Friday at another lodge, with punctual service. Made for a relaxing and enjoyable trip. Worth every penny!
