Had a chip in the fiberglass hull of my boat. Brought it here to get repaired. Their price was considerably lower than that of competitors. My boat was repaired within two days. I could barely see the chip anymore. Good service at a good price. Didn't have any problems here.

The worst. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a boat or with any repair shop. Took my boat to Smith Boys because it was not running. They told me I needed a new carburetor and they replaced the carburetor. I paid them $1600 and the boat started I put my wife and daughter in the boat and they went a mile out and it died. I got them towed back in to land and I trailered the boat back to Smith Boys. They told me they do not know what the problem is and asked if I wanted to pay for a diagnosis. They were rude and would not help me. They would not credit me and they would not even look at the boat without me agreeing to pay them for two hours service. I have never been treated so poorly by a business. I spoke with the owner and he was the rudest. I will never go there again. I wish Sea Ray would find a competent dealer in Upstate NY.

This marina was the worst in service I have ever dealt with, brang my boat there for a estimate on some fiberglass motor mount repair, was told it would take a few days, after a week with no return calls back, I picked up my boat only to find out it was vandalized in there care ! They finally had a estimate of a thousand dollars more than there competitors. This place looks like a boat grave yard, with survalance cameras just for show, you'll be out of business soon with this type of service or lack there of!!!!!

I recently had my 230 SLX in for service to get some annual maintenance done and get it winterized. I was extremely happy with that boat. When they got back to me with what the boat needed it was more than I had anticipated spending for winterization and upkeep. The attention that I received from Bonnie the shop manager was great. She explained everything that was needed and recommended. When I told her that it was more than I was expecting she said "You could always trade it in?" in a laughing matter. So just for kicks I started talking to Tom who is a salesman that has been there forever, and knew everything there was to know about boats. He started showing me a 270 SLX which was wayyyyyyy more boat than I thought I could afford, but after the amount of money they gave me for my old boat, and the discounts, and Boat Show savings they made it really hard to say no! Needless to say I am the proud owner of a 2015 Sea Ray 270 SLX. Thanks guys!!! Now I just have to tell my wife.....

I have never been to a more unprofessional, poorly run business in my lifetime. A disorganized stock room, employees that are miserable to deal with, and a culture of lies and deception highlight my experience with Smith Boys. If you would like your boat to be returned you in good condition after service, or storage DO NOT use this business.
