We loved the ride, the view, and the exercise. We had requested a 30 minutes tour. But the black guy at the reception (with black sunglasses and a cap) was really rude. I asked him where is the time that shows the return time so we do not go over and get a fine. He did not answer, and took me as if I am stupid. Even if you do not know, just say you do not know and be helpful at least. What a shame

EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE IN PENOUILLE (GASPE) On vacation in Gaspe for 2 weeks at the end of July to see the family, I went to Penouille to enjoy the beach and to take the little train. In the past, the train would take you in front of the main building near the parking lot. When inquiring inside the building for the fee for the train and the schedule, nobody explained to me that you have to take the train further down the hill instead of next to the main building. Result? a bunch of people, myself included, missed the train (after waiting for it for 15 minutes) and shortly after an employee came to tell us that we shouldn't wait there but down the hill - a little too late... She pointed at a sign the size of my hand on the other side of the road mentioning that the train was down the hill (nobody read the sign, its barely visible). We had to wait another 40 minutes down the hill for the train (which ended up going back uphill where we were first standing (the train had to turn around!!). On the way back, rain started pouring with thunderstorm. Instead of disembarking us at the main building uphill, the train stopped before the hill, leaving us completely wet to walk back to the car (a 5 minutes walk). Now that we have to pay for the train, I imagined that the service would be better. My was I wrong!

I was at old port for Canada day fireworks. Arrived an hour early and found front row seats to the show. Happy Canada day!
