It is one of the best campgrounds I have ever been in worth the drive even if it takes hours to get there clean and gorgeous bathrooms and showers once I'm there I never want to leave.

This campground is in a beautiful place! The new owner is improving a little at a time. There is a brand new bathhouse with free hot showers and he's currently building a new Rec room. He has firewood and ice and a small store with basic items if you run out of something. There are some waterfront sites, some sites are up in the woods, variety of large and small sites. You can bring your ATV'S but DO NOT ride the trail from here, the beginning is fine but if you plan on getting to the main trail system, you have to drive through about 20 miles of hell first. We trailered into town (20 minutes south) and the trails from there are great! I would give this place 5 stars if it had electricity, and the sites could be improved by flattening them out and adding pea stone gravel (it's a bit muddy in the woody sites) but like I said the new owner is constantly improving. If you like basic but beautiful, quiet, in the middle of nowhere campgrounds, with no phone service, electricity or WiFi, this place is perfect!

Wonderful campground run by great people who really care - they even remembered us 5 years later! Fish, hike, bike, swim, or just relax...this is camping at its best. The sites are big and surrounded by the forest and ponds. They have everything from primitive tent sites to sites big enough for a large motor home. We highly recommend this campground and are looking forward to our next visit.
