Recommended by locals we took the Marjolaine family cruise from 1-4pm departing from the pittoresque village of Ste-Rose-du-Nord. Weather forecast predicted thunderstorms so we were a small crowd on deck. It turned out to be a history lesson thanks to Louis who had done his homework better than our kids geography teachers back home! Amazing narrative, view and finale near the Statue at Sepaq! Listening to Ave Maria was magic and now we decided to hike there the following day! You can eat your picnic on the cruise ship instead of restaurants at the harbour. Since weather conditions literally can change within minutes make sure to be ready for rain or shine (read bring clothing to change and sun cream if you spend the three hours on deck) Highly recommended and just enough for kids. Longer cruises are for those who don’t like driving down the fjord I gather.

Fantastic way to see these incredible waterways! Great hosts, excellent English translation for those of us who aren't bilingual.
