Don't expect to hike on a mountain. It is just a walk in the woods, but a very beautiful one. We took the Lakes trail and it took us more than 4 hours to finish it. We stopped of course many times to admire the surroundings. We even spotted a red fox that cached a squirrel in front of us. It was of course upsetting for our kids, but a good lesson about the life in the wilderness.

I don't spend a lot of time inside. but it 's look like great, wonderful. if you like green and blue; that's your place. and when you drive there, you will pass to inside the village. I advise u that spend time in the village also. it is very small village. but very clean and nice. people are kindly and helpful. I like them.. have a nice trip. u can't sea kayaking but u can cano. I gave 4 star because I didn't spend a lot of time..

A really great Park! I've been there in the autumn and in the winter. Both seasons are amazing. I saw a deer in both in visits. I also saw a red Fox and some birds landed on my hand. This Park was the many main reason I got the SEPAQ season pass. Since its close to Montreal I intend to come here many times. There are many different trails, I don't think I'll get bored anytime soon.

Only a 30min drive from Montreal, you can enjoy this calm hike in Summer. There was an entrance fee (sth like 8$). We took the “Sentier des lac” root, which as the name suggests, let’s you see the five lakes and took us about 4 hrs with the brakes. The trail is smooth and easy through the woods (almost no elevation) and has various observation sites. There are cano/kayak rentals for one of the lakes. The park is not suitable for a picnic, but there are benches that are good for taking brakes and having snacks.

Beautiful grounds, many trails, Info desk available if you have limited time. Bikes allowed. Tea shop on the grounds (no food, just snacks and drinks). And plenty of people to smile and say hi to! :)
