To bad there wasn't a zero star... Edmonton public schools are difficult to speak to when urgent matters arise. Parents must wait 24 to 48 hours to have a call back. I have had nothing but issues with their schools and how they handle bullying and how they program for special needs children. Their excuses are each principal runs the programs differently. Last time I checked kids with special needs have specific program needs regardless of who is the principal. I have had to pull my son out of his last school due to consistently being bullied, and what ultimately made the choice to remove him was as he was asleep on the school buss 4 kids punched him repeatedly in the stomach and privates blew there nose and shoved the Kleenex in my sons mouth. Now this year I have yet again had to pull my son from school due to a staff member at the school refusing to call me when I have a concern regarding situations and ultimately during a meeting disrespecting my parental rights to talk about concerns. Undermining my family and I, raising his voice to a unprofessional tone and demeanor. I am disgusted with Edmonton public school and lack of professionalism. There is a whole community in the special needs world who has similar problems. Edmonton public schools dont understand the children are the ones who suffer.

This has to be the worst school board in Canada. We have been consistently screwed around by them, there staff are massively overpaid for the poor quality service they provide. I highly recommend moving to city outside this district.

Interesting interior design, the central atrium is a great place to host events.

My children have been bullied at two schools and nothing was done about it, I have been verbally abused by a vice principal and told I wasn't allowed on school property (?) whilst defending my daughter's right to a safe environment-sexual harassment had occurred and it was shrugged off. She is 13.
