I've been dancing here for over a year now and have enjoyed the experience immensely! The instructors are professional, friendly, and understanding (especially when starting out). Their teaching techniques are easy to understand and pick up and the studio has a classy and comfortable design. Highly recommend these instructors and the studio.

although pricey the studio offers so much from private lessons to group lessons and practice parties. the staff are fun and willing to work with you to achieve your goals whether it be dancing for fun, dancing in a "showcase" or competitions. I have been to other studios in other states and this is by far the BEST!!

The review from Joanna Duncan is completely wrong. We have improved dramatically over the last few weeks, and have seen many others do the same. The staff are amazing teachers and dancers as well as great people.

Avoid this place, even if you think you are getting a good deal with a groupon! We bought the groupon deal and attended an introductory session and several group lessons, with a view to learning a dance for our wedding. They will teach you only one or two steps from each dance and then just repeat these endlessly. There is no advancement. They also teach you wrong. They do not teach you good form or anything about a dance frame. They also simplify the steps so they do not use the best technique. We recently found a private dance teacher and we have started to unlearn what we were taught at Fred Astaire. In one session, we learned twice as much as we were taught over about four lessons at Fred Astaire, including good technique. We were also told by Fred Astaire that we should not practice at home, our new dance teacher informed us this is a technique they use to ensure you have trouble remembering the steps so you need to buy more lessons. The customer service at Fred Astaire is just weird. They are just over-the-top fake happy all the time and it's just weird and uncomfortable. It also made us feel like we were being treated like idiots. They use the groupon deal to get you into the place and then really try to push a lot of outrageously expensive private lessons on you. The lessons are really short, maybe 30 mins each and come in around 500 dollars for three. The teacher we have now is charging us 250 dollars for 5 one hour private lessons, and he actually teaches good technique. In summary, avoid this place like the plague!!!

All the instructors are great to dance and learn from during the lessons. The studio shows a lot of class in how they dress and treat their customers.
