My family switched to Alive Danceworks in September 2017 and are so happy we did. Not only is the training top notch, the sense of community and support throughout the studio is unlike anything I have seen. We have found our forever dance family. :)

My kids both to this dance studio. Love that it is located in the neighborhood and provides fun classes for young kids...including hip hop for boys!

Over the past 9 years our family has experienced all levels of program at Alive Danceworks - Mom and Tot, Recreational, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Adult classes. The studio is truly unique in fostering the competitive spirit through support and encouragement. The dancers thrive with each other not in spite of each other. In particular their ability to attract and develop male dancers has been impressive. Nearly every class from recreational to their Level 3 professional program has at least one male dancer. They have male teachers, guest choreographers, bathrooms and a change room. It has provided our son with courage and confidence to pursue his passion without reservation. I think we would be hard pressed to find another studio in the city with such a positive atmosphere like Alive Danceworks.

Alive is an outstanding place to dance. Not only is the quality of education thorough and fun but the teachers are so involved and dedicated to their dancers. Each class you learn and grow in a different way, while at the same time are having fun in the energetic and positive environment. However Alive is not only an amazing place to dance, it is also a safe place of self-discovery and where friendships grow and flourish. I have danced at Alive for 8 years now, in both the recreational and competitive programs. I have truly made so many friends that will last forever and have learnt virtues and lessons that have shaped me to become who I am today. The family you grow to find there is such a special bond to experience and I am so fortunate to have been a part of this community for so long . I highly recommend checking out Alive Danceworks whether you are looking to start dancing or to continue your dance education at recreational or competitive levels, it is such a great place to grow, make friends and dance your heart out.
