Best experience of my whole life. Esb is here to teach you proper technique, grace and over performance. Best school for people longing to have a career in dance. Teachers are strict but constantly lift you and your confidence and self - esteem up. Absolutely amazing.

I went to this ballet school for 7 years, and I dreaded going in every day. I truly cannot understand those who praise this school. The teachers were demeaning and rude, and instead of building up your confidence they would make people feel worse if they felt like they were lagging behind. The teachers acted like teenage girls, and would gossip about students and their parents (I know this because I heard it, many times). There is a difference between being strict and being mean; yes, it is important and necessary for the students to be respectful and attentive, but I feel like the respect from teachers was lacking, as they were rude to the students and the parents as well. If you are looking to go into a professional ballet program, I strongly suggest sending your child elsewhere. There are plenty of other ballet schools in the city that operate at this level of professionalism.

I've only been at ESB for 3 years and I love it. The teachers may seem strict but really, all they want for you is to be a better dancer. They focus on technique more than competition which I think is great because it pushes me to become a better dancer and to strive to be the best that I can possibly be. I continue to dance at ESB and it makes me love dance more than I already do.

This school is the most amazing ballet I have ever been to. They focus on skills and the ability.

Edmonton School of Ballet is great. Teachers are good with the students and always make sure everyone knows what they are doing. Out of all the dance schools in Alberta, I would recommend this one. I have danced here for for about eight years now, and the schedules are pretty good. This school focuses a lot on technique, performance, and profession. A lot of other dance schools focus more on the competition dances and costumes, but ESB works on making every dancer a professional. When I first started dancing, I thought it was awful and boring, because I was never really the best dancer, but the teachers here make it very fun and exciting, and make sure you get every step right. Yea, it's hard, but you have teachers, students, friends and family to help you practice, and practice makes perfect. So to sum it all up, I highly HIGHLY recommend Edmonton School of Ballet. :)
