I have never left with a bad haircut. The only thing to be aware of is that this place takes time. The barber gives each customer a full half hour of dedicated work. It’s worth the wait but make sure you can. If there are two people ahead of you, you are waiting for at least an hour.

This dude cut me on my forehead in 4 different spot's today. I know mistake's happen but he first blamed it on my skin saying "it's too sensitive" then said "you had a pimple". Not sure how hygienic his clipper's were as he just blow dries them a couple time's. If you run a business take ownership of your mistakes. I don't mind paying 2 times more but I will not be back again.

Does not honour the advertised First Friday Downtown Lethbridge $4 off haircuts promotion. Applied product without asking first. I rarely put product in my hair, and never while at a barber. I asked for a 0 on the sides blended into a 4 on top. I received a shave down to the skin equivalent to a straight blade (lower than what I expect from a no-guard clipper) and next to nothing taken off the top. I suggested the employee take more off the top and instead the blend was worked on again. Maybe this is a case of miscommunication? Or maybe they don’t know how to put a number 4 guard on trimmers and buzz. Regardless, I went to my usual spot (Tommy Gun’s) for a correction afterwards. It was an easy cut for them; the blend was already there so they just threw a number 4 guard onto the clippers and evened the top out. I will not be returning to High Maintenance Barbershop. I recommend anyone getting their hair cut there write down on paper what they want and are expecting.
