This is a great place to try paragliding. Dave and Don are very friendly and helpful. They were able to arrange the best day to fly with only a couple days notice. The waiting time is easy to pass on the deck with comfortable seating and a relaxed atmosphere. This is perfect for anyone who wants to accompany fliers. There is a real flying community spirit evident here. It can be a full day activity so a picnic is a good idea. Water is available for purchase and there are clean, flush toilets. I had a fabulous flight that got up to 10000 feet. It was an amazing experience with a view of Lumby, Vernon, Silver Star and more. It was cold up there so a jacket is recommended. This is definitely an amazing, worthwhile experience!

This has been a “want to do” for a long time and today was better than expected. What a friendly and supportive group of people. Dave was my tandem pilot and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was patient, encouraging, attentive, funny and so knowledgeable and did his very best to make this experience safe and outstanding. He waited until conditions were at an optimum. I would definitely recommend Freedom Flight School to anyone who wants to experience flight!!!!

Great place to taste the joy of flight! Powered trek flight with Randy was amazing experience. All paragliding and hang gliding instructors are professionals and make good impression. Meanwhile atmosphere at airfield is chill and super friendly, we were camping at Freedom Flight Park, enjoyed campfire and amazing homemade burritos you can buy there ;) Highly recommended!

Freedom Flight School’ is a fantastic experience. I had Dave for paragliding and Randy for motorized trike flying. They were great instructors/pilot-in-command and took me on two marvelous flights. We soared with the eagles for more than an hour on each flight. If you haven’t done it, you have to do it. If you have done, do it again, what are you waiting for?

What a wonderful place! Dave Randy Don thank you so much, your ability to focus on areas that need improvement in a positive manor is truly a great way to learn. I was so impressed. Your place is so welcoming and the support of other pilots is encouraging A Great Place!
