Unfortunately, in this world we have to accept the fact that we cannot make everyone happy. I am a professional with a degree and I am now attending evening school to continue to advance and learn new ways to evolve and become more marketable, I am also an Instructor, a facilitator and a mentor to youths and adults. In addition, I am also a proud member of the Lorenz Latin Dance Studio and a ghetto participant of the Saturday socials. I have nothing but good things to say about Lorenz Dance Studio. Julissa is a star, she has been very supportive and helpful when I needed her assistance in making some moves possible. I participated in her advance classes on Wednesdays (unfortunately I can’t now due to school) and I have to say that they are absolutely wonderful, creative, challenging and fun. In addition, I have been a member of the school for a little over 3 years now, during my time with Lorenz I have forgotten personal items, such as; brand new Armani shirts in the bag with receipts, food and grocery, my dance shoes, my cell phone numerous times and my last episode was losing a small money pouch with over 100 dollars in cash in it. These items have always found their way back to me, thanks to the studio’s personnel, their honesty and high integrity. In fact, Ashley, the young lady that is being attacked returned my money pouch with all my money in it. Not a dime was missing. I don’t know how many studios will do that. When I was a child, I was taught to focus on the good in people and to avoid negativity. I was taught to move on and find happiness whenever I found myself to be unhappy without hurting or degrading anyone. This includes my personal relationships, love life and my present professional network as well. I feel sorry for those folks that are around people who make these kinds of accusations who they might think others have the responsibility of making them happy. Good luck with that.

Lorenz has been an awesome experience for me, the staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help. I enjoy every class I take and look forward everyday to going even if it's just to hang out. I recommend Lorenz to everyone I speak to. I look forward to attending for many years as there is a lot to learn

RESPONSE TO LINDA P. REVIEW Although we are all entitled to our opinions', personal attacks should be addressed with the individual. You question the customer service of the staff, making it a point to reference key people and pointing out only one's short comings; yet this is not personal. Your stating a person is rude and is a horrific teacher only demonstrates your open-mindedness to accept constructive advise. Julissa, is mission driven and pushes her students to their limits as many of us will attests to. Julissa, is recognized throughout the dancing community as a first class dancer. With her talent, she should show off but she never does it in the studio; it's done on the world stage. You make comment to her teaching methods as well but fail to identify them in your review. You clearly had no connection with her as a person or as your dancing mentor. She has many alumni which have gone on to dance semi-professional or have grown a new appreciation for the art of dance. Granted, learning something new which you attempted to do is both challenging and frustrating; in your case nearly impossible. You ripped into Itza and Yazmin Lugo and refer to Yasmin's dancing; stop right there. Anyone reading your review would see you were left wanting, wanting to be a Julissa, Itza and Yazmin; not their failure but rather yours. Perfect your craft before throwing stones at a glass house. Keep your shallow opinions to yourself. Let's discuss your derogatory opinion of the "Ghetto Social". I give you credit there, because it shows you have a talent for masking the truth. Talking from experience, the many people I have had the privilege to meet at not only the socials but as a student have enhance my appreciation for what Javier, Julissa, Nick, Ashley, Gabby, Edwin do daily. If you would have taken the time to mingle with the "ghetto people" you would have learned who they were. The Doctor's, Nurses, Teachers, Lawyer, College Students and professionals comprise the largest group of the student body. However, you chose to over look great people and focus on air-conditioning and space; poor judgement (which by-the-way they have (smh) . In-short, words are powerful but the truth always prevails. LLDS has one of the best teaching systems. They offer four locations of which we are all just one big family. Dancing becomes fun when you dance with your new found family. I hope you found a studio where you can create positive memories as I have. You failed to review a studio by reviewing the people and the people who run the operation; it's no wonder you walked away with nothing "focus". Just an afterthought - You can attempt to tarnish a studios reputation but can't identify yourself as a real person. I am an active student of this wonderful place for 4 years and 6 months now. This is a sanctuary for music and dance not for false advocates as yourself.
