Excellent Instructors, no attitude. Syllabus is taught in an easy to fills manner. All material is broken down for easy to follow directions. Instruction is well communicated in an inviting and caring environment. Very professional instructors. Overall a very satisfying experience. Looking forward to returning in the fall.

The teachers and owners are super friendly. Everyone is really welcoming. There are a lot of regulars who seem to be there constantly. A lot of the classes especially more beginner ones get super crowded so that there is hardly space to move or see. This also makes it difficult to learn as much. A lot of the classes are only taught by one teacher who has always been a lead in my times there, so there isn't a lot of instruction tailored to follows. The teachers also don't dance with the class or rotate so feedback is limited. Even the intermediate classes don't go much into styling, connection, or musicality and seem to be more focused on a turn pattern or short choreography that is repeated for the rest of the class. I feel I haven't been developing as much as a dancer as I should be and instead am learning to memorize turn patterns which is primarily useful for leads. It is emphasized to follow the choreography rather than to feel what your partner is leading which isn't very helpful for social dancing. The classes always seem to start and end a bit late usually around 10 minutes. The back to back classes make it chaotic during the turnover and if you come early or on time there is nowhere to wait. The place is long and narrow and the coat racks are in the far back so whenever people come in and out of class they are trying to move behind while you're dancing which is distracting especially in the really crowded classes.

I've discovered Salsa Salsa Dance Studio through a close friend, and since then it has become one of my favorite places in this city. The instructors are all great, the classes are super fun and structured very well, and there are a lot of socials in the area so you can get some practice. But best of all is the wonderful community around the school, which makes it even more fun to be a part of it.

Great Teachers, studio is very very small. The instructors are excellent with outgoing personalities and I enjoyed my few lessons there. However I think they really need to look into expanding into a larger space. The class is packed and people are dancing into each other. And can I say sweat all over the place. Their AC system doesn't work for the amount of people in the sardine can.

While I am not from Brooklyn, I travel there often and Salsa Salsa is THE place to go for Latin dance instruction. I have taken group lessons with Marcus, Jose, Andy, and Joseph over the past few years. Awesome private lessons are available, too. The instructors and the students are warm, fun, diverse, and welcoming. I leave every class with my cheeks sore from smiling so much. Salsa, bachata, and cha cha are all top notch here. I love this place.
