I would highly recommend Ellis Dance Studio for those parents/students in search of a beginner, intermediate, and/or advanced education in the art of dance. For 10 years I have collaborated with Kia on various choreography projects. She is dedicated, passionate, and innovative at her craft. She is a well-studied professional instructor whose main goal is to inspire and encourage dancers growth and development in the various techniques of dance. Her studio and staff are warm and welcoming yet rigorous and thorough, offering a variety of different dance techniques and classes for all age groups. Students should expect to learn, grow, and develop in the field of dance under Miss Ellis' instruction.

Last Spring I was contemplating switching my daughter to a new dance studio. As luck would have it, I met Ms. Kia at a local café by chance. I was impressed by her enthusiasm, and by how genuine she was. Well, long story short, I switched my daughter to Ellis last summer. She went from liking dance to loving it. She improved greatly with her technique, and I had the opportunity to see her progress at the recital this past June. It brought me to tears. The students learn technique, self-confidence, self-respect, respect for others, perseverance and how to conduct themselves as professionals. Kia Ellis is so amazing with her students, and their families. She takes every question and concern seriously, and always makes time to ensure that her students have a very meaningful experience at her studio. Every child is special at Ellis Dance Studio.
