I absolutely love the family atmosphere. My daughter has blossomed and my son has come to appreciate dance too. Highly recommend this studio for anyone looking for great technique and all the other wonderful things dance teachers children.

Going into our 7th year at Protege, I can say it has been more then just a dance team for my daughter, it is her family. Protege is more than dance, technique, competitions, talent, winning, etc..... It's the whole package. If you're looking for somewhere for your child to grow, learn discipline, time management, respect , setting goals and feeling a deep pleasure of satisfaction, Protege is for you. We are so happy to be a part of The Protege Family!

My experience with the studio and most especially with the studio owner spans several years and I can only say positive things! The owner taught and developed a highly respected dance program at the high school level prior to launching this excellent studio; she is a consummate professional and adheres to and applies fair rules which she applies with transparency and without exception. A caring and committed teacher, the owner uses professional judgement in her teaching and her administration of the protocols required of a successful studio. Great place for your child to learn, to grow and to excel.

Actual instructors working with the children (competitive program: Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop) are highly motivated and passionate. Studio management on the other hand is detached and confrontational, never willing to compromise when a problem arises. Our extremely rare request to resolve time conflict around family vacation was neglected and treated as unworthy of any serious consideration. Communication was unprofessional and ineffective. Following a short (2) polite e-mail exchange where I was trying to resolve a time conflict, my daughter, a competitive program student for 4 years, found that she was removed from the program (via e-mail @ midnight on Friday) and not even allowed to finish up the year with the studio including participation in last competition, Year End show and be present on the studio pictures. There was no actual verbal conversation with either me, my daughter or my wife. Just an email. Further attempts to communicate and resolve situation were completely ignored by the studio owner. My daughter was absolutely devastated. None of the studio rules and the policies were ever violated. No meeting was suggested to discuss the situation. Moreover, I have never talked to the studio owner in person in those 4 years. We witnessed a condescending and disrespectful management style, our child was thrown out without any reasonable explanation whatsoever.

Fantastic studio. Feels like home. Our daughter is treated like family there.
