"Vala's Academy of Indian Music and Dance" in Brampton

Excellent academy for music classes. One of the best and affordable academy in Brampton. Positive atmosphere and professional music teachers. Both of my kids go there and learned a lot in short period of time.... AWESOME place!!!

Amazing place with great staff. My daughter has been going over three years. We are very satisfied with their services. Keep up the great work...👍

Very nice academy and I learned so much during my times there. The teacher was very helpful and now I'm very good at playing the piano all thanks to her!!

One of the best academies I have ever been to. Keep up the good work👍

This "academy" is horrible I used to drive 30 minutes to get there and I wasted so much gas on nothing. I learned nothing from her and she just handed me worksheets and expected me to learn. She never gave any demonstrations to me and when I asked her to play the keyboard for me she said that I had attitude. That makes no sense!!!?? So I came to the conclusion that she didn't know how to play any of the instruments that she claimed to teach. I also borrowed one of her mini pianos once and it was very low quality and the adapter of it broke with very quickly and I paid her $30 for it. Then two years later she calls me asking for like $150 for that MINI piano, I bought a FULL-SIZED piano off of best buy for $60 and she expects me to pay $150 for a mini one. It wan't even completely broken it was just the adapter. I obviously didn't pay her and lied to her about trying to find another one. In conclusion I wouldn't recommend this academy for any lessons. The lady that teaches will just hand you worksheets and disappear somewhere in her house and not return for half an hour and she just expects you to play the exact same thing for that long. If you want to learn from someone without spending much money she's not the one because she will just print worksheets off of google which you can obviously do at home. She also has a very greedy personality because she asks for $15 per class which you can do at home for free. I wouldn't even give them one star. It's not professional at all and I think that its just better to pay a little bit more for an actual, proper and professional music teacher. She also doesn't know how to play any of the instruments because she would never play them even when I asked her to. She told me that I had attitude for asking her to play the keyboard because I had never saw her do it before. She also said that I had attitude for playing something else after I was done the worksheet. It wasn't my fault because she would just get up and leave after giving me a worksheet and sometimes she wouldn't return for half an hour. So I obviously finished the worksheet and started playing something else to pass my time. THIS ACADEMY IS NOT WORTH IT PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
