Great value. $5 for two hours of intro to salsa dancing is an excellent deal. They start at 7 PM SHARP so make sure to come on time or else you will miss out on basic counting. The instructors are serious about their lesson and are knowledgeable. Hence, it feels more like a school than a relaxed recreational activity. Be prepared to dance with lots of strangers. Make sure to wear breathable clothing because the small dance studio was packed. Overall, this is a great place to try out salsa dancing.

Best dance experience ever! I never thought that I could be dancing, and through a series of fortunate events, I found Salsa in the Heart dance school. The instructors, Raj, Nixon, and Miguel really are passionate about salsa dancing and technique and teach well. I actually go to salsa dance events now, me! Looking forward to more salsa dancing lessons from them.

This has been the best experience!!! The instructors are passionate about salsa which leads to them really inputting into each dancer! I have been going for just over 5 months, and I am now comfortable with dancing out, with other people and their styles-- and I started having never danced salsa before! The instructors are both encouraging and challenging, strict on technique but also invested in your improvement. They are hard teachers in a the best way! I recommend Salsa in the Heart to anyone learning to dance salsa in Toronto! (It is worth my commute from Scarborough to come downtown for it!) :P

What an amazing Salsa Studio. They have qualified teachers, a big spacious room to practice salsa. The studio offers three levels of salsa, beginner intermediate and advanced. Miguel is the most qualified teacher and his level of experience is astounding. The other instructors are top notch as well, always helpful and go over the parts you dont understand. Always can find a partner there even if you came on your own. Its a great experience overall.

Miguel attends to the level and pace of his students. His combinations reflect his experience and inspires a leader to not fall into typical and repetitive patterns and choreography. He's very mindful of his class ratios, and understands the guidance a student needs in order to grow. It's been a pleasure to get to know Miguel, and he has been instrumental in my growth as a salsa dancer! Thanks Miguel! :D
