great teachers and friendly atmosphere and if we talk about the director, Yasmina Ramzy, it`s not enough to say that she has a nice Egyptian style! she connects with the music on her own unique way. she is a really great dancer and all of the teachers she has at the academy are professionals and friendly. Love this place for a complete belly dance class.

I have been traveling to Arabesque Canada from the USA since 2014 and attending events hosted by the founder, Yasmina Ramzy, since 2006. I have traveled to Egypt with Yasmina, as organized by Arabesque Canada. This is hands down my favorite Arabic dance, music, culture, history - and so much more. My investments into Arabesque Canada (with my time and money for education) have undoubtedly transformed me into the artist that I am today. I look forward to decades more! You will receive so much more than a dance class when you come.

All the teachers I have taken classes with are very professional and passionate about their work. Each one has her own style but all of them are always willing to guide the students in their journey of learning. They are very friendly and easy to work with but they are also very serious about technique. The way the class card works is very flexible and allows you to go on your own pace. There are different levels, all of them focused on technique but also allowing the students perform and experience the most exciting and glamorous part of belly dance. I love this place!

My favorite place in Canada!!! Ever since I moved to Canada from China, my first thing is search for belly dancing place to study belly dancing, once I cane to this place. My life changed!! Teachers there are amazing!!! This place teach you how to dance and how to become a real dancer, not just learning chero!! I am not gonna give up going there!!! You will have a lot of chances to learn real you!!

Arabesque Academy is THE school to learn authentic Arabic dance and music. All the teachers are well trained. There is individual attention and encouragement. If you are looking to learn technique, there is no other teacher like Yasmina Ramzy. She breaks down each movement step by step. You'll find muscles you never knew existed :) How wonderful is that? If you are only interested in dancing for exercise and listening to beautiful music, that's OK too. There are many classes to choose from and the school is directly across from the subway. There are drumming classes as well. The atmosphere is friendly and I love this school.
