My daughter has attended Academy of Ballet and Jazz since she was 4 years old. She has transformed from an adorable little girl into a real ballerina and a beautiful young lady thanks to Nadya Veselova and all the Academy's faculty. The school teaches technique, artistry and discipline. It provides kids with the opportunity to star in an annual showcase featuring a new ballet production every year and allows everyone attending the classes to perform on stage. I would recommend this school to anyone who loves the art of ballet and wants to succeed.

This is one of the few academy that train a all-round dancer. Students do not just learn techniques, but also learn different variations from various ballets. Every year, students will be dancing in different ballet productions. This is very important as they will see themselves as part of the whole company and every dance will come into sense on the stage.

I have been on a long search to find my daughter a great school. Having been a former professional dancer my standards are quite high. My search stopped here. This school doesn't waste your time and money with competitions and costumes. This school's focus is on the training. Ballet is the school's specialty and they take it very seriously. Other forms of dance are also offered. This school is for those who love dance and for dancers that want to pursue a career. Everyone is together and not separated like in other schools. The level of dancing here blows my mind. The students are so disciplined and the teachers are excellent. There are students here that look like they could be placed directly into ballet companies. I love to watch Nadia Vesolova Tencer ( owner and former ballerina ) teach. It's positively beautiful. But I would also like to add that all of my daughter's teachers have been excellent. This place makes me want to dance again. Very inspiring.

This school is a gem in Thornhill area, it provides the best ballet training for all levels. The artistic director Nadia Tencer is the best ballet teacher with a loving heart, teaching ballet and seeing her students grow is her passion. My daughter has been trained with Nadia for 3 years, within the 3 years, she has transformed from a contemporary dancer to a beautiful ballet dancer. I am very happy to see my daughter improves every day, and becomes better and better artistically.

Ballet taught in the right way. If you want your posture and moves to be correct - this is the the place where you'll get it. Excellent school!
