Both my daughters look forward to seeing the horses and animals every the summer camp over the last three years at Meadowlarke Stable. They have learned a lot about riding and grooming the horses. They also enjoy seeing and learning about the other animals at the stable. It's been an amazing experience for them. The staff are flexible and easy to deal with too which is half the battle for a parent.

My daughter loves their Summer Camps and asked to register again for this summer. This is the first camp program that she expressed her excitement. It is quite bit far from our location, but it worth it!

My daughter loves animals, so this is a great place for her. She enjoys getting her horse ready to ride and has a great time during her lesson. She also likes to see the other animals as she walks in. It would be nice if they could clean up the parent waiting area a bit.

I’ve been riding at Meadowlarke for several years now and can vouch for the instructors - I have learned a lot with them! The stable has a friendly atmosphere which makes it great for people of all riding levels, including beginners. I also love the emphasis they place on animal welfare. The horses are rescued, and Meadowlarke is also home to rescued farm animals including cows, goats, sheep, pigs, and birds. Finally, the location is very convenient, right off of the 401 in Mississauga.

What began as a birthday party has turned into years of riding for my daughter. Our first exposure to Meadowlarke was when we decided to host a party there for her. She quickly fell in love with the animals and she anxiously awaits her riding night every week. She loves taking the time with her horse before and after each lesson and she is gaining much skill and confidence through her weekly lessons. All of our interactions with staff, instructors and other riders and their families have been very positive. Plus, at Winston Churchill and 401, it's basically a taste of the country without having to leave the city. We always highly recommend this spot to our friends who are interested in learning more about riding.
