We had Afrolatino Dance Co. for our wedding to perform salsa and samba shows. We had a blast and our guests absolutely loved it! Prior to the wedding Albena went through all the details and synced with our DJ to ensure everything ran smoothly that day. They performed such amazing salsa and samba songs and made sure everyone got up off their seats and dance. Try to book them in advance (3-4 weeks).

I stumbled across AfroLatino Dance Company several years ago when I was at a very low point in my life. Taking classes here was one of the best choices I ever made, and I didn't know it at the time but it ended up being the first step to coming back to myself and feeling whole again. The teachers are fabulous, the music is awesome, and you always leave class feeling better than when you went in!

AfroLatino Dance Co. is such a fun and welcoming environment to be a part of, and I am happy to call this studio home! You can learn a series of amazing dances that include: Cuban Salsa, Kizomba, Cuban Rumba, Afro-Cuban, and much more. Also, you get to transfer what you have learned from the classroom to the dance floor with monthly student outings and weekly socials, which are fun and encouraging atmospheres for everyone! Albena is a wonderful instructor who is very patient, and exudes positivity; her passion for teaching shines through in each class, and that energy is contagious throughout the studio and her students. If you are looking to add some ‘sabor’ to your life, look no further than the best place to be, and that is at AfroLatino Dance Company!

I love this place! I took 3 levels of Kizomba back in 2015. The atmosphere was always really nice, the steps were easy to follow and we practised a lot in class.

Salsa or Nothing!!! 8 months ago I was going through something pretty rough and decided I wanted to learn a new skill to take my mind off the craziness that was happening. I googled (funny enough) salsa dancing Toronto and coupon and Afro Latino pops up. It was a great deal and just what I needed. Little did I know that it would turn into something that literally breathed life and joy and laughter and good vibes back into my life and I have been dancing every since then. And even trying to learn new dances. This company, this family , at this studio is amazing!!! You'll walk out of there feeling like where ever you go to dance around the city you'll run into someone from Afro Latino dancing with you, encouraging you to dance, having fun with you and just enjoying the vibe with you. What I most appreciate about Albena and Yareneys is that they actually care and recognize you. It has been my experience that when i miss a class they remember that you were absent and actually say, "hey were have you been" missed you at class the other day - that personal touch makes a difference. Great space with great energy!!!!! Nicole
