DO NOT BOOK. I am not one to write reviews but I feel bad for anyone who books him without knowing what they are getting themselves into. I booked him a few months before a my sisters wedding event. He said no contract is necessary and to send over the $500 deposit. The night before the event I contacted him to confirm he will be there and he did not have the booking noted and then he said it was only for photography and there is no way he charged the amount he did for both photo and video. I sent him the messages and he complied. Thankfully he did show up on the day of, however, there was no professionalism or direction provided. Once the event was finished it was a struggle getting our photos and video from him. Even when we did receive the photos, there are 500 images of extended family members with no focus. We didnt get a single picture with my immediate family (together or individual members) and we got only a few shots of my sister. It then took another 2 months + a message to him requesting a refund for the video as we do not want it based on the quality of the delivered photographs. After several follow ups, he finally sent the video which looks like it was compiled in 1/2 hour.

I bought a camera from one of the photographers that works here, named Rojan (according to Kijiji). He promised to give me the camera and all accessories, we negotiated a price and decided a place/time to meet on a Friday. On Friday, he was 1.5 hours late (blamed it on traffic) and didn't bring 2 of the accessories that he had promised me. He then promised me that he'd drop off both accessories on Sunday as he's in the area again to cover an event, he reiterated this several times. I paid him in full. He also texted me the same night to tell me that he'll drop the accessories off on Sunday. Since then, I have texted and called him multiple times and he has not responded to me. He took all the money that we decided on but did not provide all the items that were promised to me. I have proof of all of this. Do not trust this business with your money and time. Edit after response from ikonicfilm: i have screenshots and everything, i'd be more than happy to share them with you to jog your memory. A friend was with me when I came to pick up the camera from Rojan so she'll definitely recognize Rojan and his friend, and the car they were in. I also have proof that ties Rojan to this business. I'd be happy to share that as well. Your customer service is very poor. You hardly respond properly to people who have voiced their concerns to you. Probably a good idea to review your business plan and work on your customer service skills.

The Ikonic film team was absolutely terrific to work with. They were extremely professional and organized from Day 1. They addressed all our questions and concerns in a timely manner. On the day of the wedding, the whole team was available to assist in any way possible and ensured the photography/videography were done to the highest standard. I have nothing but the highest praise for them - they go above and beyond with respect to the service and product they deliver. Thank you for allowing us to have such a wonderful and positive experience! Overall rating - 11/10!

I saw the review below and decided to write a review as well because I am going through the exact same experience. It has been an absolutely terrible experience working with Ikonic Films. It has now been 9 months of me texting Mayu to please send our wedding highlights and all the pictures. We don't even have our reception pictures or wedding highlights. The contract by Ikonic Films clearly states that everything will be delivered within 4-6 months. However, after the wedding, Mayu stopped responding to texts and phone calls. We have only received half of the things stated in the contract (1 of 3 events' pictures and videos). To all brides/grooms booking for the future - yes Ikonic Films is reasonable (price-wise) and yes they do a good job with video editing - but really what is the point of that if you are never going to receive all the videos? To save yourself from frustration and unprofessionalism, book a company that has good service and good quality.

We had our wedding captured by the awesome team from ikonicfilm. Made our day very easy going considering we came down from Michigan to share our special day with our family and friends in Toronto. Very Pleasant to have worked with the team and same day edit was amazing. Would highly recommend for personality and price.
