NOTE: This dance school is now permanently closed as owner has moved out of country. A good start for beginners to learn Argentinian tango. Ricardo has inspiration, passion and encouragement to making progress.

I moved into London 3 months ago and began to look for a Tango school. I tried several teachers, I liked them all but finally I have chosen Ricardo because of his attitude to tango and to students' progress. He really cares how you dance, he likes you to move fast but steady. A good dancer is not always a good teacher and it is true the other way round too. Ricardo has both. He is a great dancer and he knows how to explain to you what exactly you need to do. In 3 months I progressed from a beginner to quite a strong intermediate level. I am very happy I have find him.

Ricardo loves teaching and sharing his passion for Tango and takes enormous pride in his work. Since I have been learning to dance Tango with Ricardo I have attended his workshops and various weekly classes. His focus on technique and attention to detail is essential if you want to learn to dance well. I can recommend taking some private lessons specifically tailored to your individual progress. The teaching at TangoAr studio is well structured, friendly and fun. Ricardo is a charismatic personality, his enthusiasm is infectious and very motivating - he inspires confidence

Hello Guys, If you really want to learn and improve your level come! You will be happy as I am now to have found a friendly and stimulating group. Here the reasons: I got four advanced lessons and I noticed great improvement in all the people that attend Ricardo's class. I tried different teachers but in London he is the only that: 1) dances with all the ladies. (I saw teachers dance only with pretty girls or very advanced) 2) He does not speak too much. He shows a step and immediately you try and then if you change partner. You will sweat! And for more than 2hours you dance and get new steps and clean your bad habit. 3) he loves teaching and you notice that is not afraid to share his knowledge or the latest steps that he uses in his performances. 4) he is the only teacher that has got a real advanced class with real advanced movement. It is a real challenge but you feel a continuous improvement in the posture and in the memory. He teaches with an incremental method that help your body to remember and elaborate all the steps. 5) So far class are really small. In London I attended classes with other teachers with more than 40 students just to listen a teacher talking or showing off and at the end even the movements you get were elementary. At TangoAr you will learn and improve. To use his quote "you will be a better dancer!" :-)

Ever since I was a child I just looooved tango. It is such a beautiful dance I think. So not long ago I decided to finally learn to dance it. I can't compare TangoAr to any other place as TangoAr is where I started learning tango for the first time. I can say, however, that I really enjoy it. The atmosphere is very nice and everyone is very friendly. And the studio is very nice too (which is equally important). I personally believe that if you get the basics right from the very beginning, you will feel more confident and learning more complicated things will not seem too difficult. And I think that Ricardo is very good at teaching and explaining how to get those very important basics right. He is very good at explaining the technique. At least for me it is important to know "how" and "why" :-) Ricardo is genuinely interested in his students progressing, which is a big plus when your goal is to "hit that dancefloor" as soon as possible AND know what you are doing :-). So if you would like to learn this beautiful dance I could definitely recommend TangoAr.
