Found this fantastic dance studio tucked away in a beautiful little mews in the heart of Bayswater where I have been having lessons in Argentinean Tango. The teacher Mr Takis is excellent and really puts you through your paces which is great as my partner and I wish to learn this beautiful dance as quickly as possible! Can not recommend this school high enough!

A Fawlty Towers Experience I had read the reviews here and elsewhere but went because I live close by. I thought I had been to a class by the rudest Tango teacher in London but this one is much ruder than Rojo y Negro. Amazing that they are both going strong when there are so many better ones available. The teacher arrived 15 minutes late. After a while he says "I'm going to sit and have a coffee and watch you dance". How rude. He shouted at nearly everybody especially the women. They seemed to be on the point of crying. He repeatedly forcibly pushed an absolute beginner female into the cross. She had no idea what to do and at the second time got cross with him. He told an absolute beginner male to "Go on. Start". The beginner male had absolutely no idea what to do. The class was scheduled to end at 22:00 on his website and on the poster on the door but he said "That's the end" at 21:30. So 19:45 to 21:30 instead of 19:30 to 22:00. And a lot of it was dancing with the women and shouting at them one by one. That said it is quite a nice but small place with mirrors and a nice smooth floor. Ignore him and it is good place. Not only is he a very poor communicator and teacher but also very rude, aggressive and violent.
