My spouse and I have been taking dance classes with Gus for a year. We LOVE it! Gus is unbelievably patient and fun teacher -- also amazingly effective!

My wife and I have been taking dance lessons with Gus for just over a month now. We have tried other instructors previously as well as Fred Astaire Dance Studio, but we were unimpressed because they taught us so slowly in order to keep us coming in and paying more money. With Gus, we have progressed so much faster and the lessons are so enjoyable. Gus sends us a video by email of the main teaching points after every class which is extremely helpful when we want to practice at home after. Gus also really knows how to adapt to the different learning styles of students, which makes it easier to pick up the patterns of each dance as well. We highly recommend anyone looking for dance lessons to learn to 'Dance With Gus!'

My fiance and I started going to Gus to learn a jive routine for our upcoming wedding. Neither of us had any prior dance experience. We've been at it for about 2 months and have improved a lot. Gus is a great teacher and breaks dances down into specific steps. He was always great for listening to what we were looking for in a dance and his lessons are always a lot of fun. Thanks Gus ☺ can't wait to show off our moves in August.

After taking lessons every week with Gus for an entire school year, I can say with conviction I thoroughly enjoyed every class. From the disciplined teaching style in the first class, to the meticulous guidance in my latest encounter, Gus has always upheld the highest standard for himself and for his students. Gus is not a teacher who sugar-coats his critique, because there’s nothing encouraging in letting students mellow in the beauty of mediocrity. But Gus also has the ability to infuse motivation and sincerity in all of his critique, never frustration. You can only learn when you know where to improve on, and I’ve learned to point out my mistakes sometimes now (he uses this to test me). You can be certain Gus is never boring, and there are fun workshops, practices, monthly dances for students to attend. If you are looking for dance lessons in London, don’t forget to compare – if you want to have fun, you can go anywhere, but if you want to have fun and actually LEARN to dance beautifully, go to Gus. You will only regret you didn’t find him sooner.
