Private Lessons at LHR I recently took my first private lesson ever after 5 years of social dancing and taking group swing dance classes around Toronto. Luis made the experience very fun and comfortable. I had asked for a general assessment of my dancing and key areas to focus on improving. After watching me social dance with a partner he quickly picked out some areas of improvement and gave specific tips and drills I could practice at home to improve these areas. He also gave some great feedback about swing out technique and general aesthetics that will improve the overall look and feel of my dancing. In the lesson we worked on applying these techniques correctly and I could see the difference immediately. It will take some practice to make these techniques part of my regular social dancing but I left this lesson inspired to practice and improve. It was valuable to have a professional set of eyes quickly hone in on these points! Highly recommend private lessons at Lindy Hop Revolution for dancers taking group classes to periodically check in on their overall technique and get specific personal feedback! Don’t wait! I wish I had done this years ago!

Natalia and Luis of Lindy Hop Revolution achieved the impossible! We're total beginners, and yet in just 5 classes they'd choreographed and taught us a whole wedding dance (then we had a few more classes to fine-tune). I love how they worked patiently with us to find our style - we chose a slow Blues tune, then worked together to learn moves that worked well for us. It was 100% fun from the beginning, and they're incredibly encouraging and non-judgmental. It was so worth the effort to do this before the wedding, and we couldn't have chosen better teachers.
