I absolutely love this studio, I signed my autistic Niece up for classes at the New Arthur Ave location & she instantly bonded with the kind instructors (which is rare since she’s super shy) — every Saturday she talks about her classes and shockingly making new friends !! She shows us what she’s learned with Ms. Ninda & Leah and I’m truly grateful they’re helping her to come out of her shell this summer — can’t wait to see being her back in the fall. ALSO I just wanna give a HUGE thank you to all the teachers/admins for being so understanding and patient.

You wrote a review for Andrea’s Dance Studio One hour ago 1.0 star rating 7/3/2018 My daughter had been dancing with BDT the company these people took over for, for a few years and never were there any issues until now. I have never been so disappointed in all the years my daughter has been dancing. From the lack of customer service to the complete disregard and understanding of the parents and our situations. How dare you ask parents to pay for costume in DECEMBER right before the holidays for a show in JUNE. Costume to which had not even been selected by the teachers!!! I placed my daughter in a dance school in the BRONX for convenience. The staff at Andrea's took in upon them to have the recital in Mamaroneck NY!!! We weren't told until after we had paid this deposits on costumes and our children were excited knowing they would be in the up coming show. So how do we break our children hearts and pull them from the show after all the hard work they have done. There was no consideration to those parents who do no drive or would have a hard time paying a Uber/cab or the struggle we would have to deal with taking the metro north to then take a bus as they suggested! We not only had to this once but TWICE given dress rehearsal was the day before which started early on a school day and didn't end till well after 7PM. Now again to get on Metro North not arriving home till after 10Pm to be back there again at 11Am for the show. Now from the time they took over two staff members who were also students pretty much RAN the studio!!! From registration to making payments they were there. They had to deal with our concerns and complaints. Our children depended on them ESPECIALLY mine given my daughter is Autistic and is use to structure and will only go to certain people for help. These to lovely ladies had agreed to help her back stage with her quick changes as they have done for her since she has started dancing there. The owner thought it would be a great idea to in MY OPINION which i am entitled to WRONGFULLY fire these ladies the day before dress rehearsal leaving my sister to help my daughter change back stage and confused the day of the show. I had to run back and forth to help her. I can go on for days with the issues here. Parents please research any and all other options before placing your little ones here!!!! The staff is not welcoming its all about MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!

This is the first and last year my daughter will be attending this school, no complaints on the instructor but from what I've encountered they have been very unorganized and the lady who sits in the front has been very rude since day one, you can't even ask a simple question without her getting all rude and frustrated. The school had problems ordering their uniforms and when I asked about the uniforms in the presence of the same lady..she talks with her head down, not too mention she saw me standing there for about 5 minutes without saying a word before asking me if I needed help, "no I'm just standing here for my health" is what I should've said..screw this school. 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼
