Two and a half hour wait last night finally walked out! 4 hour wait this morning walked out! Not 1 person had more than a 45 min. wait other than me! I was in so much pain I barely made it to my car. I thought compassion was part of their job, obviously not at the Innisfail hospital. I will never go back to emergency there, Olds hospital was super!!

I went in as I had rust and metal fragments in my eyes. The receptionist was efficient. The wait time was projected as an hour but I was tended to right away. The LPN Jean who was my intake nurse was friendly and personable. Dr. Wing was very nice and handled the situation with professionalism and efficiency. Even though my eyes barely functioned I could clearly see I had come to the right place! Thanks again to the great staff!

Excellent care. Nurse was efficient and kind. As I work with the general public I understand how difficult they can be. I try to keep that in mind when I am accessing public services.

They have no compassion for anyone including crying infants in pain. Had to walk out with our infant after facing negative attitude from the nurse on duty and the Doctor. Total disgrace to the profession of Health Care. Will not recommend to anyone. Some particular staff members have lost their ethics and have lost interest in their profession. This place doesn't even deserve a one star, but it wont let me post so I have to give them a star.

Some parts of this hospital are wonderful; others are despicable. I'll elaborate: The Emergency Room is usually decent. Wait times are reasonable more often than not (about half the time have been able to get in right away). Staff are decent here for the most part. I have dealt with a few staff who really aren't suited to this type of job, thankfully they are few and far between! And have every now and then had staff members assigned to me that went above and beyond their duties! Lab staff are very nice. The phlebotomists are kind, compassionate, and good at distracting people from the needle! Highly recommend for people with anxiety! X-Ray techs are meh. Not bad, but not overly warm, either. Also, they need to turn up the heat in the X-ray room! The mental health department is utter garbage (but sadly, most mental health facilities everywhere seem to be). It used to be better but has really gone downhill. They desperately need more staff! The Rosefield Centre is mediocre. It is basically a hospice. They should really spruce the place up, paint it some wild colors! I know if I was dying in a facility, I wouldn't want to be looking at plain walls all the time, yuck! Neither my family nor myself has used the eye clinic, physiotherapy, or speech language therapy, so it would not be fair for me to review those. The bottom line? It isn't the Mayo Clinic, but it (mostly) gets the job done!
