Just visited the new dog park at the North End of Lion's Park for the first time yesterday and am quite impressed. It's a nice large Park, and good to see that there is also a separate area for small dogs. I understand that water will be going into the dog park soon. A few more tables or benches would be nice, especially for those of us who don't like to get run over by enthusiastic, happy dogs. It's a pity that the donated trees and shrubs aren't protected properly with the chicken wire cages. I doubt that they will last very long.

Great Dog off leash park. Separate small dog area. Some people need to pick up their dog poop though.

The new dog park at the north end of Lion's park is very well done. Too bad the nearby toilet block is only open in the summer. It needs water for dogs & humans. Lights would be good too. The tone of the posted rules is offensive; our elected officials and bureaucrats have no business making threatening statements. The bag dispensers should be mounted better. More tables. Better refuse bins. As for the rest of the park, it could use a bit of sprucing up. Still, overall it is worth visiting.

Beautiful park and one of the nicest off leash dog park in the area. Unfortunate that there are bums hanging around drinking booze and doing drugs.

They added fenced "off leash" dog area. Nice park with skateboard area, some so so exercise equipment etc. . In summer time can be crowded in late afternoon and evening with the people when come to the okanagan to pick fruit. And note these people are the saviors of the fruit industry in this part of Canada.
