I started with CrossFit in The Netherlands about a year ago. First I went twice a week, but it slowly turned into once a week. When I visited Starke in December 2017, it really changed my way of viewing the workouts. I enjoyed doing them and I noticed that visiting the gym is more enjoyable when you put in more effort. Thanks to the very friendly and helping environment at Starke I soon didn’t feel like a stranger anymore. I enjoyed doing the workouts and connecting with the other people there. That is something I took home with me. I changed my subscription from twice a week to unlimited and now I’m usually going to CrossFit about 4 times a week. I noticed that I’m more motivated to do a workout and I’ve connected with more people now.

Starke Strength sponsored a Fundraiser event for our group - Healthy Role Models - last Friday. It was challenging and fun at the same time. The two coaches did an awesome job of engaging everyone and demonstrating modifications where needed. The facility is clean, bright, and very well equipped. We raised money for K.I.D.S. Int'l and CancerCare. And I would like to thank the owner and staff for their time and help.

I can’t say enough about how amazing Starke is! They supported our Healthy Role Models #mbcrew fundraiser in support of CancerCare MB and K.I.D.S Int. with 2 amazing coaches (Laurie & Caitlin) and a challenging workout! There were 30 of us and we all had a blast! We laughed and tried new things! It was an amazing first experience of CrossFit for me! The place is modern and clean and has a little of something for everyone! It truly is all encompassing! Paul opened his gym to us and made us all feel welcomed! I know I’ll be back! Cheers!

Starke sponsored an event for our Healthy Role Models (“HRM”) group last Friday. It was so much fun! I’ve never done anything like it and the two coaches did an amazing job of engaging me and telling me the modifications I could use! We raised money for K.I.D.S. International and CancerCare. Thank you to the owner and staff for their time and help and I can’t wait to come back!

I left another crossfit gym as starke was offering a great promotional offer regarding training and nutrition. I was nervous starting at a new gym. But the best thing about starke is they usually start out the training session with some sort of fun activity, forcing you to interact and get to know the other members, aka making friends. Starke is the best crossfit gym in Winnipeg because: 1. Paul the owner is friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and present. 2. The programming is great. 3. The coaches are awesome 4. The other members are awesome and inspiring 5. The facility is huge, clean and plenty of equipment.
