Burlington NL is located in rural Newfoundland. If you want to experience the life in an out-port community then this is for you. The best thing about our stay in Newfoundland was our interaction with the people. Burlington and Middle Arm have fantastic people. You will find yourselves greeted as if you are family...which you are :-) The space is amazing. The tent/cabin has many of the touches of a well appointed suite in a luxury hotel. You will also be able to put your toes in the Atlantic literally steps away from the front flap of your luxury tent. We had nightly fires, went on challenging hikes, and immersed ourselves in the culture and lifestyle of a true rural Newfoundlander. Prepare for the weather! This is Newfoundland. It can get cold during your stay. Best that you prepare your wardrobe for all the seasons. We visited in July but prepared for October in Ontario and we were happy and comfortable in our clothing selection. Visit as many of the small businesses in the area that you can! Meet the people. Get their suggestions as to what to do with your time. The people in the area are generous with their time and are eager to help. During our stay over three days we saw moose, bald eagles, and even a whale! Keep you eyes peeled and you will see plenty of wildlife in the area.
