As someone who has been coming to this gym for five years, since it opened in 2014, I am sad to say that I am officially fed up with the sorry state of this place. Over five years, it has become clear that the management of this place has officially given up on caring to run a quality gym that brings in loyal customers. A few things to, amongst many, to elaborate on my frustration: 1. All of the broken equipment - some of this equipment has been broken for 1+ years. Today, no fewer than 14 out of 25 of the treadmills are out of commission. 2. Lack of weights and equipment - this gym has a total of 8 five pound plates. With five bench presses, usually there are only 2 or 3 barbells to actually use them. A rope pull machine that has been broken for 1+ years could be easily removed (as it’s clear it’s not going to be repaired or replaced at this point) and a 3rd squat rack put in. As Donald Trump would say, ‘sad!’ 3. Speaking of squat racks, how is it possible to have a gym of this size and only have 2 of the most versatile pieces of workout equipment? 4. The place is usually an absolute mess. Sometimes I frequently need to hunt throughout the whole gym to find a specific dumbbell, which has some how made it’s way into a back corner by the stairwells, and no one has ever bothered to put it back. It’s very upsetting to me to see this gym go this way. It used to be the highlight of my day to come here. I can’t believe this is the same place that people used to pay $100+ a month to come to. I hate that it’s come to this, because this is by far the closest and most convenient gym to me, but I will be looking for a new gym this month.

Great amount and great variety of equipment available to suit everyone and their needs/goals. Incredible section of cardio equipment. Love the functional training area, only limited by the personal trainer hours if you did not sign up for that service.

Hi, I’m sending emails for a few weeks now and don’t get any answers. I would call you but I live in Germany so its not possible. I don’t get any responses but only new payment reminders every month. Joseph Phan send an mail saying he will take care of the fees about a month ago (screenshot attached) but still nothing happened even though I send him a few mails. Can you please take care of this because another few months are over and I’m getting new bills every week. I really don’t want to sound rude but I would really like to finally end my membership properly and don’t get any more bills. I don't know if you are ignoring me on purpose but I send at least 10 mails and I never get an answer. I already contacted all mails I could find online and nothing happens. Thank you! Best regards, Julia

I've been a member at Crunch for just over a year now. You absolutely cannot beat the value that this gym brings. Not only is it very affordable, but it's also a very nice gym as it was previously Madonna's Hard Candy gym before being bought out by Crunch. The staff at the gym are very friendly and considering the gym is downtown it's not as busy as you'd expect. The gym is always well maintained and the change rooms are always in good condition. I only have a few negatives regarding the gym, but for the price I think it's still well worth it. First complaint is the lockers. For the past year there has been an issue with the lockers. Crunch has continually posted signs saying the issue would be addressed but it's been a year and I've only seen minimal improvement. Secondly, the gym is brutal with temperature control. Last year they didn't have A/C on well into June/July. There were times when the gym thermostat read 84 degrees! Also sometimes in the winter I noticed there's some issues as well in the winter. I've seen the temperature drop to 66 in the gym when the sun goes down. But again overall, I would recommend Crunch College Park to someone looking for a decent gym at an unbeatable price

I frequently receive emails for promotions. They have been offering the $20 'Refer a Friend' deal. Referred by girlfriend who signed up, never got the $20. Went in-person to the front desk and was told someone would call me back, never happened. Emailed them, nothing. Emailed them again, nothing. But did I continue to get emails telling me about the promotion? Why yes, yes I did. Do not trust this company. It's not the $20 but the principle of it all.
