I Train my clients here. It is well equipped to suit all levels and abilities. Cardio and strength equipment. It is kept very clean. Good change rooms, showers, steam room and Sauna. Add Squash courts and Curling and you have real value for your membership dollar. A friendly place

I've been a member at the CDCRC for two months. I joined specifically to use the fitness facility, so I can't speak about the curling side of things. The fitness center is broken up into two rooms; one for weight training and one for cardio machines. The cardio side has over a dozen machine including steppers, ellipticals, treadmills, bikes and a rowing machine. The weight room has cable machines for all the main muscle groups, weight machines that use plates as well as squat racks, bench press and a Smith machine. There are two racks of dumb bells ranging from 10 lbs. to 60 lbs. In other words I couldn't ask for more. The facilities are always clean and well kept, the staff are friendly and so are the other members. I have never seen it full, so usually there is no waiting for access to anything. I exercise during the day and have rarely seen more than 5 people, in both rooms, using the place at the same time. I have frequently been there when there was only one other person and sometimes only me. The facility is card access and available from 4:30 am to 1:00 am. Anyone should be able to find a time to suit their schedule. A couple of personal trainers use the CDCRC exercise center for their activities and provide classes in yoga and kettlebells. I have met both personal trainers (Alec Dewdney and Shelley Aggett) and they are both friendly and personable. I am very pleased with the CDCRC and would recommend it to anyone. It meets all of my workout needs and does so in a nice clean, friendly way. An easy 5 stars.
