I have been going to this Women’s Only GoodLife for a few years. I like to go to Only Women’s gyms even though I have an all access GoodLife pass. This location is convenient for people by downtown and in the east. Easy to access by bus and by car. Only negative is the staff sometimes are missing at the front/talking or on their phone or to each other when it’s sort of empty. But most of them are usually very nice. I knew one that was very rude and did not help me when I was confronted by a racist old lady in the locker room..but that employee is gone now. This location is the 2nd best Womens Only gym in Ottawa (second to Barrhaven). I will continue to go since the hours are good. The Gloucester location is closer to me but I hate the layout of the machines. Equipment : standard..they add new cardio machines after awhile which is nice, they have a new glute bridge machine, good number of cardio machines: 2 cable lever machines, which is nice when one is in use.

We are thrilled to have great new equipment, new classes on our schedule, including Zumba, Yoga and soon to come, Barre! We want to empower women and make everyone feel welcome and strong! I go to this gym 4 days a week. The staff is unbelievably helpful, friendly, supportive, and kind! They are like your family!! The trainers are super happy but also drive you to reach your goals! I love this gym! It may not be big, but it has everything I need to feel safe, happy, and fit! I recommend Goodlife at the Vanier location for women to every lady who wants to get in shape!
