1000 islands are one of the world’s best tourist attractions. Beautiful blue ocean and luxury dream homes on small islands are splendid. 1000 island’s Gananoque boat line is the oldest boat operators and it is pretty well known. We booked "lost ships of thousand islands" cruise, which is a 2.5 hr boat cruise that departs from Gananoque port. The customer service of the boat company is helpful, they properly guide our queries and assist us. The cruise is pretty much safe for small children and elderly people. The cruise deck has the facility of restroom, coffee shop and bar. We booked our ticket online, and as per company policy, if you are uncertain about your reaching time, you can call them to postpone for the next available trip. The entire trip is well-organized, however, the tour guide speaker system was dull, people were on their own on the cruise and there was not much excitement. I believe tour could have been more animated if it was guided properly and energized.

Great views and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the boat. Staff were very friendly and the ride was stunning. Only reason to remove a star is because at the very beginning of the season they basically had very little food on the boat. The fridge was broken and what little snacks they did have were melted. As a result (you can't bring your own food on), we did get a bit hungry which dampened our mood towards the end. (We went on the middle length tour that goes around Boldt Castle, but doesn't disembark), so 3 hours without a snack is pushing it a bit for a diabetic. A big kudos to the staff for handling all my questions beforehand. As I have anxiety, I often want to know many things before I book and over the phone they answered everything easily and with a friendly attitude. Would book again.

Great cruise, friendly staff. Sites were great. Just wish the overhead information on the speakers about what sites we were seeing, was available on the top deck and front outer areas of the boat. Cruise reminded me a lot of the 'Miss Midland' boat tour in the 10, 000 islands. Beautiful area and so was the museum we toured following the cruise. A must see attraction. This is what the area is all about!

We did the 2.5 hour cruise. It was great! Overall experience was wonderful, except they definitely need to upgrade the interior, especially the snack bar. Looks run down.. old..looks dirty. I don't think they changed the interior of the ship for over 20 years since I was last. Would highly recommend upgrading the look of the snack bar.

Beautiful tour. Was pretty crowded but there was enough room for all. Who can complain when they get to spend a beautiful.day on the water. The price was reasonable. Enjoyed it all. Drinks were pricey though. The server said no more than at a blue Jay's game. So I suppose that justified it????
