I visited this studio couple of times to take private lessons with another teacher. The studio is well-equipped with Balanced Body Pilates equipment so you have the option to do contemporary pilates as well as classical pilates. The studio can feel a bit squashed during peak times as there are group classes running along with the private lessons. In that sense, it can be a bit uncomfortable. However, the reason I don't recommend this place is the way the owner Nikki treats her clients and the way she runs the business. She likes to run and control everything forgetting the fact that we as customers pay for her space and equipment so in return she needs to provide a good environment where we can enjoy our sessions but this has not been possible in my experience. I usually bring coffee to the studios I train and I never had a problem before. However, Nikki said that the coffee gives her headache and took my coffee to the kitchen one time without of course checking with me. She just took it away. I did not say anything at the time and afterwards if I came in with my coffee then I left it in the kitchen. However, today she took my cup again without checking with me, and put it outside the studio on the floor near the toilets. I don't know what got to her as she does not communicate well but I found this behaviour extremely rude, cold and inconsiderate. I never trained with her so I don't know how her teaching skills are however, the way she runs this studio makes this place a cold and sad place. And also as mentioned earlier, there can be space issues at peak times and she also interferes as to which equipment we should use. So if you are into your coffee, have positive energy and look for a relaxed friendly studio, this is definitely not the right place due to rigid and unfriendly ways of the owner. There are lots of good studios in London with good and positive vibes.
